In order to bring proper usage of apps from its newly launched APP Store, BSNL is celebrating the month of September, 2011 as FREE APPLICATIONS MONTH. During this month customers can download apps for free. BSNL APPS STORE, is a collection of about 40,000 applications (free/paid) of different categories viz. Social networking, Games, Entertainment, Utilities, Cricket, Finance, Religion, Business, Bollywood etc.
BSNL had earlier launched the service in association with Accenture. In order to access BSNL App store and download apps from their data connectivity (EDGE/GPRS/3G) are required. The service is available for 2G/3G, prepaid and postpaid customers from BSNL Live WAP portal.
