Facebook Hack Prevention-Prevent Yourselves From Porn Videos And Photos Posted To Your And From Your Profile

We where in search for the damn reason behind this virus and Te-Bay Blog have the answer for us.Thanks for this wonderful post.

I was listening since many weeks that if you see any porn video being posted on my profile please let me know. Its a fb virus. I haven't posted this.... etc etc and I bet if you are patriotic user of FB then you also have seen this message or posted this message.


Yesterday Finally Finally this so called facebook virus knocked on my door. Ahhaa a porn video posted on my wall by a friend. Before I clicked on it, I posted a comment "Hey Buddy Keep posting like this. :)

This was posted by Mr. Virus on my wall.











It referred me to a Blog- page

www.yikes20.blogspot.com

and then it redirected me to

http://awts-on-tv6.blogspot.com/?video
























Now Let me tell you friends Please Please Don't Click on "Install Plugin".














This website actually has no video.

This is just an embedded link to plugin software created by the hacker.
Anyways after you click on this plugin it will give a pop-up in your browser asking for installation of plugin. It does install a plugin but this is a fake plugin which will post on your friend's wall, another link calling it a link to some porn video.

So if your friends clicks and the cycle will repeat again.

Now If you have clicked and installed it on your browser What to do?

You don't have to panic. Just disconnect your INTERNET. Thought its not necessary but still we are saying because it might prevent you from sending another message to your friend.

Now Go to your Browser, here we are supposing your browser as Mozilla Firefox.

Click on Tools > Add-Ons. OR Directly press "ALT+T " and then "SHIFT+ALT+A" keys.

Now a new window called Add-Ons Manager will open.

Now click on Extensions.
There you will spot an Add-On with a name "YOUTUBE PREMIUM PLUGIN" or some thing like that, I can't remember what it was exactly. But it has some other website written on plugin. It will be like

XYZ: XYZ.COM

Just below the name of the plugin.

Now Click on Remove. And immediately plugin will be removed.
You can still see this plugin in managar there with an option UNDO.
Now right click on that plugin afer Removing and again click REMOVE option in Drop-Down Menu.

Thats It Congrats You have removed that @#%$*^%$# or whatever you call.

Guys we have been recieving reports that one more such kinda virus has hit the Facebook.
Though we haven't faced it yet but I'm proving you all the info that I have...



This virus is posted like this.
With a message saying: Wow!! do you remember this photo? http://domain[dot]com/img

This is a new one and has started just in December 2011. It can reach you anytime.

We will recommend you not to click on this link. As we haven't faced it yet so we can't suggest any solution.

The link on the Facebook post is made to look like an image file. The scammers do this by ending the scam link with “img”. Unsuspecting users who happen to click the link better hope their anti-virus software is working and up to date. Clicking the link leads to a malicious website. According to our sources an updated Kaspersky Anti-Virus is able to detect this. Don't know about other Anti-Viruses.
* This scam is using multiple domains, and all of them end with ‘img’.
If you are caught unaware and unprotected, then you are likely to be infected with the HEUR: TROJAN VIRUS virus.
We will update you if we find any solid solution. Just be aware before clicking or installing any unknown application on your system and facebook profile.

Another Virus has come to our notice today(17/12/2011). Actually this is the same virus showing video link but this time the look & message have been changed, though the link is still same. Here is the screen-shot of the posted virus:













As a safety measure those who have got this virus are requested to change their password and remove any extra application in their facebook profile.

Now don't be happy you have one more job to do.

Message to all your friends that they might have recieved such message or post on their wall from you. So please delete that post and etc etc etc.... whatever clarification you wanna give.
